Brinkwire is a news hub designed to connect corporate press releases (not usually considered a “direct to consumer” medium) with bloggers, twitter users, affiliates and other social media users (people who might be considered “consumers”).
The hub accepts only press releases that match our editorial guidelines. We like to keep quality high but without restricting the PRs to big brands only. We then make use of widgets and RSS feeds to connect those press releases to the social landscape of the web. Other press sites tend to email journalists, that’s not our style but journalists and everyone else are welcome to subscribe to our RSS feeds and connect directly with our news content.
