Weber Shandwick take home the first PRWeek Global Agency Report Card win

Posted on 09. Sep, 2009 by Andrew in PR

PRWeek started their Global Agency Report Card to track global agency networks. 2009 has been a tough year for many and PRWeek illustrate this with a quote from Results International’s Keith Hunt who looks after agency M&A; “Global networks are hurriedly trying to rebalance their portfolios into higher growth areas.”

He doesn’t say it but this blogger suspects Mr Hunt is referring to the growing trend to offer online PR or even focus on social media.

Weber Shandwick topped the 2009 Report Card after a good run of 12 months, in many markets and some high profile successes such as their Cannes Lion.

Edelman and Fleishman-Hillard tied for silver and GolinHarris and Ogilvy PR Worldwide shared the bronze.
